Bike In Movie Night & Comedy Show- July 10th

Join us on Wednesday, July 10th for our monthly summer Bike in Movie Night & Queer Comedy Show! We started movie nights in order to bring community together and spotlight some really talented makers. July is Portland's Pride month, so we are getting Queer AF over here. Come celebrate Pride with us! All are welcome.

Let me introduce you to the July food vendors:

FOOD- RED SAUCE PIZZA is a queer owned pizzeria off 47th and Fremont since 2015. Look for the AZzIP sign. #gaypizza They will be serving up their cold cheese pizza pan pie edition! Vegan Supremo for the vegan option. (sorry, no GF option)

DESSERT- HEARTBREAKER PDX   Morgan Hart is the chef/owner of Heartbreaker PDX. They're most often found waking up at 3am to make tiny quiche, turning surplus catering supplies into donations for local shelters, or running Wildflower Commissary, a shared kitchen + small business incubator. When they're not working, they're at home with their partner, three rescue pups & an unexpected number of fruit trees.(vegan & gf options available)

MOVIE- BOTTOMS (2023) 

Side Yard Farm will be slinging beer, wine, cider, and chicha morada. We are starting out the night with some of Portland's funniest Queer comics, hosted by Quinne Salameh & Jenna Britann. Also, our friends at Equitable Giving Circle will be at the farm doing a raffle for BIPOC families!

That’s right BB’s we’re back and sassier than ever! And somehow even more cute and queer. 

Jenna Britann, the comic formerly known during one roast as "Chick Moranis", is a co-producer of Fluid Comedy and a regular cast member of the live Dungeons and Dragons show, Magic Tea Party. She still doesn't know how to play Dungeons and Dragons. You can catch hostin' with the mostin' around Portland and Vancouver and will probably witness her pulling a door that clearly says push.

Quinne Salameh performs and hosts all over town,nd Jenna co-howt Bechdel Set every second Tuesday at Haymaker,  and her latest project is organizing comedy as a venue for fundraising for Palestine and Palestinian families. ARLO!!

Arlo Weierhauser is a stand up comedy wunderkind who has graced the stage of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Epix's Unprotected Sets. You've seen them on every stage in Portland, as well as in the Disney movie Timmy Failure and at the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, High Plains Comedy Festival, Treefort Fest, Big Sky comedy fest, and Montreal's Just For Laughs comedy fest. They were named Portland's Funniest Person in 2017.

Ash Allen is a comic and storyteller living in Portland, OR. Originally from Mississippi, Ash talks about growing up as a barefoot lesbian in the woods, her gay grandma, what it was like working at a queer sex shop, and so much more. Two-time Moth StorySLAM winner and performer at the 2024 All Jane and Upper Left Comedy festivals, you can find Ash sharing her tall yet true tales in the PNW and beyond.
